Cubs lose, I'm still not fazed

I'm not going to sit here like a liar and lie to you. I'm not going to tell you that last night's 3-1 loss doesn't come as a disappointment. I've always believed that picking up the first game is crucial to gaining some confidence and overall momentum. O well, as I've said in the past, let us not dwell on the mistakes of old but look forward to the potential represented by tomorrow.

Sorry man. I live about 10 minutes from Chase Field and I just saw Bartman gallop by my neighborhood on a sickly looking goat. Doesn't look good for the Cubbies...

As a lifelong White Sox fan, I feel for you guys. In the past, I have generally alternated between hate and jealousy of the Cubs - but after we won it all, I just sort of feel bad. Wouldn't be the worst thing anymore for the Cubs to win it all. It's a win/win situation for Chicago. Sox fans can say we did it first and Cubs fans can finally be relieved of the curse. Then we can all get back to the normalcy of no more championships until we have grandkids. Would at least avoid having Wrigleyville burned down if they lose...

Ah, what am I talking about...Go D'Backs! (Sorry Seb.)

Paul, while I appreciate your half-hearted support, the Cubs don't need your pity. But we do need your help in capturing that darn goat and making it feel welcome to enter Wrigley whenever it wants. Damn Bartman!

I think it's in my backyard still hungover from last night. I'll try to get it on a plane in time for the game maƱana. Are you going to make the trip to Chitown if they go to the WS?
